SUBJECT:7 mary 3 and Poe live on the Internet


Tonight's (March 14) 7 Mary 3 concert with special guest Poe will be broadcast
live on the 'Net from New York's Irving Plaza. Atlantic has teamed with
premier online music site SonicNet and Macintosh New York Music Festival's
Andrew Rasiej to produce the event, which will combine RealAudio, digital
images, downloadable video and live chat with the artists. The event kicks
off at 9:00 p.m. Eastern. The RealAudio feed may be accessed via the
SonicNet or Atlantic websites (http://www.sonicnet.com and
http://www.atlantic-records.com, respectively) while the Atlantic site will
also house both still and video images and live chat. The Irving Plaza
concert -- which sold out five weeks in advance, is part of Seven Mary
Three's current nationwide headlining tour. The Florida-based band's
Mammoth/Atlantic album "AMERICAN STANDARD" was recently certified gold,
while their single, "Cumbersome," held the #1 spot on the nation's rock
radio charts for four straight weeks and is now heading up the nation's pop
chart. 1996 also continues to be a busy year for 7 Mary 3's special guest
Poe who recently toured with Lenny Kravitz in support of her
Modern/Atlantic album "HELLO."
